For Outstanding Improvements to the City’s Public Water System

Under the direction of Dan Grimsbo, the City of Corpus Christi completely overhauled it's municipal water system, and received numerous awards for it's progress.

The Outstanding Municipal Utility system must have had measurable improvements to customer service and have developed innovative solutions to utility programs.
The award was given because of all the outstanding improvements made to the City’s Public Water System since the operational and water quality challenges faced in 2015 and 2016. A holistic approach to improving the public water system was conducted including the source water, water treatment plant, and distribution system, please see attached submission for details. Our Public Water System was given a Superior Rated Water System rating from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).
