My Pride & Joy

My wife Mary and I have been married for 35 years and we have enjoyed, with our two sons, the many adventures that have come our way during that time. Our sons Daniel and Mathew graduated from Flour Bluff High School and continued their education to graduate from Texas A&M Kingsville and Baylor University. Today Daniel is married to Dina and works in IT, while Mathew is working hard to complete his last school of med school.

In 2005, I was stationed at Naval Air Station (NAS) Corpus Christi.  I completed 21 years of distinguished Naval Service, before retiring. As a professional civil engineer, I continued to work at NAS Corpus Christi Public Works Department and then for the City of Corpus Christi as the Executive Director of Water Utilities beginning in 2016, before retiring in March of 2020. Living here the past 15 years, we have embraced The City of Corpus Christi as our forever home.

I vow to the residents and businesses of District - 4, with your vote, I will make every effort ensuring this District and the city is successful, through diversity, teambuilding, and most importantly, listening to you and participating in dialogue about ways we can work together, leading our city into a prosperous future.

There isn't going to be a single solution, so as your city council representative, I will participate in honest dialogue with residents and businesses, together with public safety agencies and city leadership to provide public safety that meets the future needs of our city.

I will work to maintain and modernize our city’s infrastructure through long-term planning and investments, together with fiscal responsibility.

I will work to diversify the city by supporting high quality education, comprehensive public safety, state of the art infrastructures, and an active quality of life outside the work week.
